Sadio Mane grumpy to Jürgen Klopp moment Liverpool win over Manchester United. Mane refused Klopp’s greeting at the end of the match.
When competing at Old Trafford, Manchester, Friday (14/5/2021) early morning WIB, Liverpool won 2-4 from MU. Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino (two goals), and Mohamed Salah who decided the victory of the Reds.
Two MU goals in that match were recorded in the names of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
Mane did not start in that match. He just entered the field in the 74th minute, replacing Diogo Jota.
While on the field, Mane only touched the ball 4 times. He passed twice, without firing at the MU goal.
When Klopp approached him when the match finished, Mane refused the German manager’s greeting. The moment was caught on camera, Klopp immediately gave an explanation of the friction with Mane.
“No, no problem. I made the decision at the last minute in pre-match training to play Diogo,” Klopp said Sky Sports.
“The kids are used to me explaining everything, but there is no time for that. Everything is fine. Sadio is a little angry, but that’s it,” he added.
With Liverpool this season, Mane have played 35 times. The player from Senegal contributed 9 goals and 5 assists. Mane’s number of goals is the same as Diogo Jota, only losing to Mohamed Salah who has scored 21 goals.
