FC Bayern takes off – but without Sadio Mané.
The Senegalese was not on board when the German record champions’ team departed for Singapore on Sunday morning at around 6 a.m. German time with a significant delay. According to SPORT1 information, Mané had previously said goodbye to his teammates.
The official confirmation of the change should not be long in coming. Mané came to Munich from Liverpool FC in the summer of 2022 for 32 million euros, but was rarely able to meet the high expectations.
Bayern will play another friendly against AS Monaco on August 7th before the first competitive game of the new season is scheduled for August 12th in the Supercup against RB Leipzig.
