In the last hours, All Elite Wrestling fans noticed that several names disappeared from their website. One of them was that of the birtanic fighter Sadie Gibbs, who replied to a Tweet confirming that is no longer part of AEW “due to circumstances“.
Minutes later, Sadie said goodbye to AEW by posting the following messages: “Thank you. Incredible #UNDEFINABLE It’s not the end, it’s a new beginning“” My journey has been incredible, I never hope it will be easier, I just want my core values and perception to evolve and always find an opportunity to move forward. Many thanks to Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.“.
Gibbs, 28, with experience in gymnastics, athletics, kickboxing and CrossFit, began his journey in the world of professional wrestling in December 2017. Despite his relative inexperience, he has managed to make a name for himself on the British and Japanese scene. He has come to compete in companies such as STARDOM, Pro Wrestling EVE, The Wrestling League, WrestleGate Pro and British Empire Wrestling (BEW), among others.
His debut in AEW was last year, participating in the Casino Battle Royale at the All Out event. He had two matches on AEW Dark, making his last appearance for the company in October 2019. Unfortunately, he did not make it to the weekly Dynamite shows.
Two more fighters were removed from the AEW website
Jimmy Havoc y Bea Priestley they were also removed from the roster listed on the AEW website. So far, it was not confirmed what will happen with both fighters.
Havoc it’s found suspended indefinitely due to accusations of harassment he received along with other fighters in the #SpeakingOut movement. The statement released by the company a few months ago said that the “fighter was sent to rehabilitation to cope with his mental problems and substance abuse.”
