Saddil Ramdani still not matched with the Indonesian national team era Shin Tae-yong. He was not released by the club Sabah FC to the SEA Games 2021 because it is not on FIFA’s agenda.
Sabah refuses to let Saddil go to SEA Games which will be held in Vietnam on May 6-22. While the 2022 Malaysian Super League will not stop or continue to run.
For that reason Sabah restrained Saddil from strengthening Indonesian National Team U-23. Meanwhile, Saddil was one of a total of 29 players called by Shin Tae-yong for the SEA Games squad.
“If the situation is like this, then again my motivation as a player sometimes decreases,” he said Saddil Ramdani told reporters about his failure to join the U-23 national team projected by the SEA Games.
“But it’s okay. Indonesian people don’t have to expect much from Saddil because there are many other Indonesian players,” he said.
For Saddil Ramdani, This is the umpteenth time he has not been married Indonesian National team who are trained Shin Tae-yong. Previously, he also failed to strengthen the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup playoffs to the 2020 AFF Cup, due to an injury.
Individually, Saddil is a very worthy player to strengthen the Indonesian national team. Looking back, even Saddil had strengthened various groups of the Indonesian national team at a young age.
In 2018, for example, he defended the U-19 Indonesian national team in the U-19 Asian Cup and U-19 AFF Cup, the U-23 Indonesian national team at the 2018 SEA Games, and the senior Indonesian national team in the AFF Cup.
Apart from that, the former Persela Lamongan player continues to support the Indonesian national team. He hopes his colleagues can get positive results.
“Saddil’s hope is that they can win and can continue in the AFC (Asian Cup Qualification 2023) with confidence. We are loyal supporters of the Indonesian national team, red and white is fixed,” said Saddil.
