The owner of the real name Li Xue Xiung who was born in Cianjur, West Java, October 11, 1959, is said to have breathed his last around 21.00 WIB at Pondok Indah Hospital, Bintaro Jaya.
Lieus’ body will be laid to rest at the Heaven Funeral Home, Pluit, North Jakarta, to be cremated later.
“(Sick) heart, at Pondok Indah Bintaro Hospital I want to be taken to the Heaven Funeral Home,” he told RMOL Political News AgencyTuesday night (24/1).
During his lifetime, Lieus served as Chairperson of the Indonesian Chinese Reform Party (PARTI), Deputy Treasurer of the Depinas SOKSI (National Leadership Council of Central Indonesian Self-Employee Organizations) for the period 1986-1991, Chair of the AMPI DPP (Indonesian Youth Renewal Force), and DPP KNPI (Indonesian Youth National Committee).
He also served as General Chair of the Indonesian Buddhist Young Generation (Gemabuddhi) in 1985, Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and General Chair of the Multi Culture Society, as well as Vice President of The World Peace Committee. He also manages a tabloid called Naga Post.
