Irvan Herman, who currently serves as Deputy Secretary General of PAN’s DPP said, Herman Abdullah died around 20.00 WIB. “After several days of treatment, he breathed his last at around 20.00 WIB. Please pray, and if there are mistakes, please forgive our father,” he explained.
The news of Herman Abdullah’s death also spread quickly in various WhatsApp groups. “Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji’uun. We have passed away to our parents’ mercy, Drs. H. Herman Abdullah, MM. For information, Drs. H. Herman Abdullah MM. born on 18 July 1950. He is an Indonesian bureaucrat and politician. He was the Mayor of Pekanbaru for two terms, 2001-2006 and 2006-2011. He also served as the Regional Secretary of Pekanbaru City.

Among other things in the field of cleanliness and urban planning, where during his reign, Pekanbaru won the Adipura Cup seven times in a row, from 2004 to 2011.
