A collective of 12 restaurateurs from the Sacramento, California area created an initiative called #UnidosPorLaKocina for launch a message of “encouragement, persistence and resistance” to the public in the face of the covid-19 pandemic and inviting people to support small businesses in the hospitality industry that have been affected by the coronavirus.
“We are estranged, but we do not forget you. We are far away, but united by the kitchen ”, the members of the group say in an emotional video. “The pandemic has taken many things from us, but not the desire, not the passion, not the vocation to serve.”
