A talented comedian and comedian, Sacha Baron Cohen is making his comeback on television with a satirical series on the United States. Baptized “Who Is America ?“, the first images of the program feature the fictional character of Erran Morad, a pro-gun Israeli colonel with extreme ideas. Ideas yet validated by Philip Van Cleave and Larry Pratt.
In a mind-blowing video, Sacha Baron Cohen delivers the first images of his new series “Who Is America ?“. For the needs of his program, the British comedian has grimaced to play the fictional character of Erran Morad, an Israeli colonel, an anti-terrorism expert. In this first teaser video which reveals his first interviews, Sacha Baron Cohen denounces ironically the gun policy in the United States through a pro-gun caricature.
With the completely incongruous idea of giving access to weapons to children from 4 to 16 years old in order to avoid killings in schools, Sacha Baron Cohen, in the skin of Colonel Erran Morad, spoke with Philip Van Cleave, a pro-gun activist. The fictional character even said, full of sarcasm, of the anti-NRA activists: “Are they trying to prevent 4 year olds from having access to guns? What is this logic?“.
In this interview, yet full of irony, the pro-weapon activist validated this absurd idea and even played the game by filming a kind of tutorial for children. The latter explains to children how to use pistols, uzi and machine guns, decorated with soft toys through surreal sequences. The sequel to the video continues to deride the ideals of pro-gun activists with an interview with Larry Pratt, founder of “Gun Owners of America“.
The series, created and produced by Sacha Baron Cohen, will consist of seven episodes.
