Sounds of New York aims to support the development of French podcasts with high international potential through a program dedicated to French creators, authors, directors who have produced at least one sound project. At the end of a call for applications, 7 authors will be invited to New York for six days, from March 17 to 23. The program will allow them to immerse themselves in the heart of the American podcast factory and understand how it works, from writing to distribution, including production. Open to all forms of podcast (news, documentary, fiction), Sounds of Nezw York will offer them a program of masterclasses, thematic presentations and meetings with key players in the New York industry and podcast specialists. Networking moments with experienced professionals will also be on the program. They will be welcomed by the Spotify France and United States teams, who will organize meetings with local teams and a studio tour for the author delegation.
