The saboteur, a 24-year-old resident of the Saratov region, Vitaly Ch., tore out four transformers from a relay cabinet on a highway in Podolsk, the Shot telegram channel reports today, September 21.
According to him, late the night before, on the Grivno-Podolsk section, a relay cabinet was opened two meters from the railway road. Two transformers were pulled out of it to power the automatic blocking circuits and two transformers for working in the rail circuits.
Officers who arrived at the scene took fingerprints from the scene, and hot on their heels, Vitaly Ch., a 24-year-old resident of the Saratov region, was detained. During interrogation, he confessed to everything. TU claims that the detainee was previously convicted – three times for theft and once for robbery.
Due to equipment failure, trains were delayed for half an hour.
