The French-Swiss photographer Sabine Weiss, the last great representative of humanist photography in France, died this Wednesday in Paris at the age of 97.
The artist worked in fashion and advertising photography to earn a living, although it is her black and white images that gave her international fame. She devoted herself to hunting moments of daily life in the Paris that welcomed her in the middle of the last century and mixing poetry and social sensitivity in her photos.
