The man’s body was found on Saturday at his home near Chimay. The exact circumstances of his death are unknown. The public prosecutor’s office is not commenting for the time being. The father of Sabine Dardenne – who was kidnapped in 1996 and held for 80 days by Marc Dutroux – may have died a few weeks ago. An autopsy will be carried out on Sunday and the investigation will start.
