Krefeld / Halle (Saale) / MZ – The Saale Bulls remain on the master course in the ice hockey Oberliga Nord after a show of strength. On Sunday, the table leaders defeated the penultimate Krefeld with a surprising amount of effort with 5: 3.
By the middle of the second third there was even a threat of embarrassment. The Bulls played badly, they were 3-0 down. A double strike by Niklas Hildebrand and Maurice Becker within 23 seconds, however, ushered in the turning point after 36 minutes.
From then on, the Bulls kept pushing, Patrick Schmid equalized in the last third, then Michael Fomin and Tatu Vihavainen from Krefeld ensured the victory.
