This, after the great controversy aroused on YouTube, following the deletion of the song, Wednesday, because of the refusal of the Egyptian artist to pay copyright to the Moroccan singer, Saad Lamjarred, who participated in the production of this musical work.
Revelation of said refusal previously made to an Arab site by Kareem Abu Ghali, artistic agent in charge of contracts for the services and concerts of the Moroccan singer in the Middle East and in the Gulf countries.
Observers concluded that the two Arab stars were able to find common ground and an arrangement that allowed Mohamed Ramadan to pay his due to Saad Lamjarred. Therefore, YouTube has allowed the replay of the song’s clip. «Essay», which has broken the incredible record of some 320 million views, since its launch in 2019. So any dispute is “forgotten”, as the title of the song suggests!
So, a few hours ago, Mohamed Ramadan announced the return of «Essay», via his YouTube channel, by affirming that this Egyptian-Moroccan artistic collaboration is the second of its kind concerning the hits of the summer and, also, with RedOne, producer, author, composer and world-renowned Moroccan artistic director (editor’s note, de his real name Nadir Khayat, native of Tetouan) and this, “after my collaboration with ‘lam3allam’ Saad Lamjarred”, specifies Ramadan.
Four hours after this statement by the actor and rapper from the Land of the Pharaohs, the clip “Al maksab bita3na” (Our common heritage) was launched on the Egyptian personal channel, the first collaboration between him and RedOne, which quickly enjoyed convincing success, just one hour after its broadcast.
For his part, Saad Lamjarred continues to harvest laurel after laurel and his interplanetary hit, “Lam3allam”, with 1 billion views, makes him the first Arab and African artist to have reached this phenomenal record.
