The Netherlands comes after Spain and before Ukraine. Czech Republic opens the show. Great Britain and Italy, who have a favorite role next to Ukraine, are in action in twenty-second and ninth respectively. Estonia closes the final.
Tonight, S10 will sing her song for the professional juries during a ‘dress rehearsal’, who will then give their points for the final. The fate of the singer is then half determined.
Different final
Tomorrow’s running order will be determined by the show’s producers. They want a final that is as diverse as possible, so they try not to put ballads one after the other, for example, and groups are alternated by solo artists. The artists had to draw lots to determine whether they ended up in the first or second part of the show.
S10 qualified for the final of the Eurovision song contest in Turin on Tuesday. In the first semi-final she was one of the ten best participants with her song De Diepte, much to her delight:

Song festival commentators Cornald Maas and Jan Smit were pleased with the performance of S10 during the broadcast on Tuesday. “Very stable and well sung”, Smit said afterwards about her interpretation of De Diepte. “I’m sure she knows how to sing herself in Dutch in those European hearts. Goosebumps all over the place.”
The second semifinal took place last night. Belgium, among others, managed to qualify for the final, just like S10. Finland, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Poland, Estonia, Australia, Sweden, Romania and Serbia also continued.
Success series
On Saturday, a total of 25 countries will compete for the title. Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Great Britain, the so-called Big Five countries, were already assured of a place.
The Netherlands will be in the final tomorrow for the eighth time in nine years. The success series was started in 2013 when Anouk went to the Eurovision Song Contest. After that, it only went wrong in 2015 when Trijntje Oosterhuis stranded in the preliminary rounds. For Anouk, our country was not part of the final for a record eight years in a row.
