Raphaël Arnault, candidate of the New In style Entrance, received the election within the first constituency of Vaucluse with 54.98% of the vote, beating Catherine Jaouen of the Nationwide Rally (RN), who acquired 45.02%.
Raphaël Arnault, an activist with the Younger Antifascist Guard, a motion that advocates a violent technique, is from the Lyon area and is listed as an “S” within the police register of people probably harmful to nationwide safety due to his membership on this motion. Spokesperson for this ultra-left antifascist group identified for its violent actions, he faces a number of fees of assault and threats. Alice Cordier, director of the Collectif Identitaire Féministe Némésis, claims to have recorded him making demise threats towards her.
