“It’s been a long time. I’m Ryuji Izumi, who just transferred from the Kashima Antlers.
Three years ago I decided to leave Nagoya and move to Kashima, but I failed to win a title and failed to get satisfactory results. In the meantime, I was happy to receive another offer, but on the other hand, I was very worried about going back to Nagoya even if I couldn’t get any results.
However, Grampus is a special club for me. I want to fight for this club, deliver many victories to all Grampus family members, win the title and be happy together. That idea hasn’t changed.
