“To everyone involved with Tokyo Verdy.
I decided to move to Avispa Fukuoka.
First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the fans and supporters, clubs, staff, partner companies and teammates who have always supported us. I’m really grateful to you.
Please forgive me for making the decision to leave the team in the middle of my goal of promotion to J1. However, this decision was not easy either. The more I thought about it, the more I worried. However, I came to this decision because I wanted to challenge my potential and I didn’t want to regret not accepting the challenge.
My debut game with Ajista, my first professional goal, all the matches I played with the fans, all the goals I was happy with, they are all irreplaceable treasures. I am proud that I was able to play as a Verdy player for two years. Verdy will continue to be a special and favorite club for me.
I will be leaving the team next year but I sincerely hope and believe that Verdy gets promoted to J1.
I would appreciate if you could keep Ryoga Sato in a corner of your heart and support him as a player.
