The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair now expects the first Boeing 737-Max200 to be taken over in April 2020. This was explained by marketing boss Kenny Jacobs Reuters, A few days earlier, Group CEO Micheal O’Leary said that the first acquisitions could only take place in October 2020.
Jacobs now said that the first 10 machines could be installed by April 2020. It is now planned with 20 737-Max200 in the summer months. Without the worldwide flight ban, Ryanair would already have around 60 aircraft of this type in its fleet by then. However, the FAA and EASA have not yet given a specific date for the re-registration.
