According to media reports, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon after a Ryanair plane took off to Hamburg. None of the 201 passengers were harmed.

The pilot of the Boing 737 Max registered technical problems with one of the engines shortly after takeoff. In order to avoid a possible catastrophe, he then flew through Palma airport several times Kerosene to let off. He then started to land.

The airport had already sent out fire engines, but they did not have to intervene. The cause of the technical problems are unknown. After a few hours, the passengers were able to take the flight home on a replacement plane.
