Earlier this week, it was a first figure, reassuring compared to last weekend, of 28 cancellations which was advanced, for this July 29. Finally, this number rose, following the latest announcements from Ryanair pilots, to fifty canceled flights for this Saturday, July 29. An increase in cancellations which has been accompanied by another number put forward by the workers: at the time of writing these lines, forty-six Ryanair flights will be canceled, this Sunday July 30, departing from and arriving at the airport from Charleroi. It is therefore, in total, 96 flights, so far, whose cancellation has been announced, for this last weekend of July.
The flights concerned by the strike movement, this Sunday, July 30, are round trips scheduled between 6:20 a.m. and 10:55 p.m., to destinations, in particular, Venice, Riga, Tangier, Nîmes, Biarritz and Seville.
The cancellations announced for this Saturday, July 29 affect in particular round trips scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 10:55 p.m., to, among others, Nîmes, Bologna, Naples, Lisbon, Carcassonne, Alicante and Bucharest.
The airport announces that it will remain attentive to any new development in the situation and strongly advises passengers to regularly consult the BSCA website as well as that of the Ryanair company to ensure that their flights are canceled or not.
As a reminder, in the event of cancellation following this social movement still in progress, the aviation company is required to offer an alternative flight at no additional cost to the passengers concerned. If this alternative proposal does not suit them, passengers are then entitled to demand reimbursement of their tickets.
