Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary called the Athens-Vilnius flight “a state-sponsored act of international piracy.”
“There should be no overflight of Belarus unless appropriate guarantees are received that the situation will not repeat itself,” O’Leary said.
He stressed that aircraft should not fly over Belarus until such guarantees are received.
