RyanAir and Transavia cancel flights at Eindhoven Airport

RyanAir will cancel six flights to and from Eindhoven Airport next Sunday and Monday. Transavia previously canceled at least twenty flights during the May holiday, as a result of which thousands of holidaymakers were duped.

RyanAir does not fly between Eindhoven and Reus, Marseille and Ibiza on Sunday and Monday, it reports Eindhovens Dagblad Saturday. The reason for this is still unclear. A spokesman for Eindhoven Airport says that no reason has been given by the airline.

The problems at RyanAir are very inconvenient, since Transavia had to cancel at least twenty flights in recent days. As a result, thousands of travelers did not see their holiday flight depart. Two thousand duped Transavia travelers have now submitted a claim about this.

Transavia also canceled a few flights on Friday and Saturday. The reason for the problems is a lack of aircraft with which the airline can fly.

Transavia also announced yesterday that it would also cancel flights in May and June. It is not yet clear how many flights this concerns. Where possible, the airline wants to rebook flights or provide an alternative.
