Reynolds: The movie has a lot of, like we said, soft focus background. Something amazing always happens. I think the movie, for those who love easter eggs, I don’t think easter eggs are a mainstay of storytelling, but I do believe that easter eggs, especially in 2019 or in this case 2020 when it comes out, they are something that audiences love, and love and appreciate. So the movie will be littered with Easter eggs.
Levy: When you have the producer, writer, lead of Deadpool and producer of Stranger Things, there is a high cultural literacy quotient to the extent that we love popular culture. We like to allude and contribute to it. So I’ll just say that there are a few pop-ups and some Easter eggs in Free Guy that are as juicy as anything I’ve ever made in anything.
