Ryan Reynolds does not want details of his films to be revealed by photographers who leak images from the set. The actor is currently working on Deadpool 3 and calls on people not to share photos of recordings.
“Surprises are part of the magic of cinema,” Reynolds wrote in his Instagram Stories. “It’s important that we can shoot our film in real locations, with real stunts. If these are shot, often with large telephoto lenses, it can ruin some of the moviegoer’s enjoyment.”
That is why the Canadian actor hopes that not only fans, but also film websites will no longer post these types of photos. “We want to keep as many surprises intact for the viewer as possible, even during shooting,” he writes. “Spoilers ruin the fun. And yes, I get that these aren’t major issues that I’m writing about right now. But I do love this movie.”
Reynolds plays the lead role of Wade Wilson, a clever hitman who, when he is diagnosed with cancer, agrees to a mysterious experiment. He is severely disfigured and gains superpowers. The previous two films were great successes. The third part will be released in the summer of 2024.
