Guadalajara Mexico.- This Wednesday the announcement of the release of Ken: The EP was announced, which compiles four versions of the song “I’m Just Ken” (from the 2023 film Barbie), performed by Ryan Gosling; This “mini album” is now available in different formats, and they also revealed a music video for these Christmas dates, reported The Hollywood Reporter magazine.
The Christmas music video, released a few hours ago, shows Ryan Gosling and composer Mark Ronson in a recording room while the actor performs the film’s iconic melody; all in an atmosphere surrounded by musicians and festive decorations.
It was also shared that the EP was released in the formats: official vinyl, vinyl with Ken’s image, designer style vinyl, transparent vinyl, pink vinyl, diamond vinyl. This project is now available to listen to on digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, among others.
The compact will have the versions of “I’m Just Ken”: original film, “In My Feelings Acoustic”, “Merry Kristmas Barbie” and “Purple Disco Machine Remix”; all in collaboration with the composers of the Barbie soundtrack.
Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Ryan Gosling brought to life this piece that has become one of the biggest hits of this year. So far, the official clip of the song has more than 12 million views on YouTube.
The song “I’m Just Ken” is positioned in the top 5 of best alternative rock songs by the music magazine Billboard and a few days ago it was announced that it was nominated for the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards.
