Ryan Arcidiacono has reached an agreement with the Boston Celtics and will be part of the list of men who participate in their training camp. The point guard was recently doing training sessions with the Golden State Warriors, but they do not seem to have been sufficiently impressed and it will finally be the Massachusetts franchise that gives the former Bulls a chance.
It is in Chicago where Arcidiacono has developed his entire NBA career so far, which began in 2017 after he failed to be selected in the 2016 draft. The point guard has never been a fundamental player for Illinois, although he did manage to be a man of some weight in the 18-19 season, in which he even started 32 games and averaged 6.7 points and 3.3 assists.
However, since then his presence has been decreasing more and more and last year he barely exceeded 10 minutes on average in the 44 games he played. This led the Bulls to decline their team option for $ 3 million, letting the point guard out into free agency that doesn’t seem to have generated much interest so far.
