The Dutch legend, who was one of the best players to have graced the game, also claimed that the Tottenham star “doesn’t look fast, but he is.”

Kane could not prevent Tottenham from failing a costly defeat in the North London derby on Sunday, when the Englishman had a goal disallowed and then crashed into wood.
But Gullit was freaking out about Kane’s qualities as a footballer and how he wants to play number ten.
“The more I watch him, the more I see him as a world-class (player),” Gullit said. “What I like about him is that at the beginning, when he turns around, he doesn’t try to try to hit the ball around the player.
“He wants to play the ball between your legs. Nutmeg is how you say it? That’s what he does because he knows that the defender always puts out his legs, that’s why he has scored a lot of goals like that.
“And it is also fast. It doesn’t look fast but it is. What I like is that I understand why he wants to be a 10. He wants to drift. You don’t want to get into a situation where you have to fight a defender.
“He comes out of there and sneaks into a position where he can score a goal. The good thing is that the Tottenham players trust him and trust him. They want to give him the ball. They know that if I give it to them, then it’s a goal.

It could be argued that Kane has been one of the players of the season and will surely be a contender when the awards are up for grabs at the end of the season.
The England captain has reached double figures in both goals and assists and is now reaching the peak of his powers as a footballer.
But if the Spurs can’t win that trophy or advance one more time, they may find that they will lose their powers in the long run.
