Ruud de Wild is leaving broadcaster KRO-NCRV after six years, the broadcaster announced on Tuesday. The radio DJ is busy with his personal ambition, which is to make a six-part TV series. He’ll do it next year on broadcaster PowNed.
De Wild will present his daily radio show, The wild in the afternoon on NPO Radio 2, keep doing. The show will move to PowNed from next year and will continue to be heard in the weekday timeslot from 4-7pm.
De Wild has done several programs for KRO-NCRV, such as the podcast 30 MINUTES RAW serially Framed. Last year he was a narrator during KRO-NCRV Passion.
Encountered Diagnosis The Wild De Wild made a personal documentary about his time of illness for KRO-NCRV. De Wild had colon cancer and therefore temporarily stopped his radio show. 53-year-old De Wild has now been declared cancer-free.
