Last week during the General Political Reflections, the first round was more or less fought for the upcoming elections. According to the polls of Maurice de Hond Rutte and Wilders were seen as the number 1 & 2 of this edition. With which Wilders can claim his victory as the best group chairman. In the meantime, the VVD is crawling up in the polls.
According to De Hond’s polls, Prime Minister Rutte, Wilders and Asscher stood head and shoulders above the rest. Not surprisingly, Rutte survived the debates with ease. He has now been prime minister for ten years now, and with all that experience you can see that he easily maneuvers through the political game.
In the meantime, it is also remarkable to see that Wilders gets a lot of ‘appreciation’ from voters from other parties, they also saw that Wilders was ‘on fire’ at this edition of the APB.
In the meantime, not much has changed in the virtual seat distribution. The PVV hands in a seat, the VVD wins one. This is a trend that we have seen more often in recent weeks, one week the PVV wins a bit, the other week the VVD.
The PvdA has again won two seats thanks to the strong performance of Asscher, which would now virtually make the party the third party in the Netherlands. For the time being, the PVV will easily remain the second party in the Netherlands, and the VVD seems unapproachable.
