Linz. The weekend begins on Friday, February 2nd with the popular Strünzerball. The Citizens’ Breakfast will follow on Sunday, February 4th. The organizer of the two events, which are known far beyond the borders of Linz, is the Rut-Weiß Linz City Soldier Corps. Both carnival festivals will take place again at the familiar location in the hall on Miesgesweg.
Admission is on Friday from 5:30 p.m., the Strünzerball starts at 7 p.m. Look forward to many interesting program items such as the cathedral city band, the KG “Die Isenburger” from Cologne-Holweide, Cöllner, the TC Rot-Weiß Vettelschoß, the band ALUIS, Chantarella, Command 3 and our friends from the band MachMer.
The Citizens’ Breakfast on Sunday, February 4th opens its doors at 8:30 a.m. The program begins at 9:20 a.m. with the marching band of the city soldier corps. This is followed by the appearances of all the Linz corps and of course the Prince of Linz Norbert II (Norbert Adams) with his adjutants Hotti (Horst Schreiber), Ralf (Ralf Rondi) and Murmel (Michael Nietzard). The Prinzengarde Rot-Weiß Hürth will also be on stage. The bands Kaschämm, Fiasko, Stadtrand, Torben Klein, Mätropolis, BB-Kapell and Auerbach provide the musical entertainment.
So that you can dance until the end, DJ Gordon will play again and make the dance floor shake.
On both days, the city soldier corps offers visitors the opportunity to pay contactless.
