[ロンドン 10日 ロイター] – Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian private military company Wagner, said on Monday that it has opened combatant recruitment centers in 42 cities. Wagner is believed to have suffered heavy losses at Bakhmut, a strategic battlefield in eastern Ukraine where fierce fighting continues.
In a cheerful voice message, Prigozin said new fighters were being recruited, but did not specify how many. He also said that while ammunition supplies have improved, there remains cause for concern.
Wagner led the fiercest fighting in Bakhmut, where Ukrainian forces have held up after more than seven months of attrition.
