This fearsome weapon has been formalized, but has not yet been deployed by the Russian military. Russian President Vladimir Putin in his latest speech said the giant missile would be deployed this year.

“The Sarmat is a special weapon that can deliver a large number of nuclear warheads at once,” said Solovyov.

“It’s impossible to build a comprehensive defense system, which means the United States is vulnerable, that’s the first point,” he said, as quoted from Daily StarSaturday (25/2/2023).

“And the second point is that Sarmat poses a threat to the most feared facility in US territory, the Yellowstone volcano.”
