“At the start of its invasion of Ukraine, Russia publicly promoted its ability to carry out surgical strikes and limit additional damage,” the intelligence report said. “It was stated that Ukrainian cities would be safe from bombing.”
“However, as the conflict continued beyond Russia’s pre-war estimates, Russia’s stockpile of precision-guided munitions has likely been severely depleted,” the report continued.

“This has forced the use of readily available but aging munitions that are less reliable, less accurate and easier to intercept. Russia will likely struggle to replace the precision weaponry it has released.”
“Moreover, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has revealed deficiencies in its ability to carry out precision strikes on a large scale. Russia has subjected Ukrainian cities to intense and indiscriminate bombardment with little or no regard for civilian casualties,” the report was quoted as saying. The Jerusalem Post.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military confirmed that Russia is continuing its full-scale armed aggression to establish full control over the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. “And creating a land corridor between mainland Russia and occupied Crimea,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on its Facebook page, this morning.
According to the military post, the main Russian strikes took place in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions, but there is still a high probability of missile strikes across Ukraine.
Russia also deployed troops in the Izium area to attack south towards the Kharkiv oblast cities of Sulyhivka, Nova Dmytrivka and Kurulka.
Russia has also concentrated up to 19 tactical battalions in the Belgorod region near the Ukrainian border to replenish units that have suffered significant losses.
In the Donetsk region, Russian troops focused their efforts on breaking through Ukrainian defensive lines using aircraft and artillery, capturing the cities of Rubizhne and Popasna and then continuing west to Siversk, Slovyansk, Lysychansk and Avdiivka.
In Zaporizhzhia oblast, the Russian army has confiscated personal documents from local residents for no reason and said that they would be returned if civilians celebrated Victory Day.
