Russia’s military operation in Ukraine could be a catalyst for the “burial” of US hegemony and the end of world domination of the dollar, according to an article in China’s Global Times.
According to the author of the article, Washington planned to use the conflict to weaken Moscow and gain economic and political benefits, as well as to create obstacles for Europe to achieve strategic autonomy. However, the policy of sanctions against Russia was not supported by many UN member states.
