The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova compared the behavior of the United States to the “White-sided Magpie” after the statement by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre that Washington would reduce military assistance to Ukraine. Zakharova published an ironic comparison on her Telegram.
“Reminds me of the children’s game, ‘The white-sided magpie cooked porridge and fed the children: she gave it to this one, she gave it to this one, but she didn’t give it to this one,’” Zakharova wrote. The message was published in her telegram channel.
Earlier, Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing that the United States began to transfer smaller packages of military equipment to Ukraine from the Pentagon. This is being done to stretch the country’s ability to support Ukraine for as long as possible.
Zakharova stated that Ukraine’s fears being forgotten by the West against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will not be justified. Russia will remind of Ukraine and the crimes of the Kyiv regime, Zakharova noted.
