Russia carried out a major airstrike on several Ukrainian cities on Friday morning. Several people were killed and dozens were injured.

Several cities in different Ukrainian regions were hit by Russian missiles. Explosions were reported in the capital Kyiv, the northern city of Kharkiv, the western city of Lviv, the eastern city of Dnipro and the coastal city of Odesa.

Reports about the number of deaths and victims are still coming in. At the moment there is one death and three injuries in Lviv, where a residential building was hit. According to the governor, two people were killed and fifteen people were injured in attacks on residential buildings in Odesa, including two children. A school building was also reportedly hit in the coastal city.

Four people were killed and several injured in the Dnipro region. According to the governor, a maternity hospital and shopping center were hit by Russian missiles. The Ukrainian health ministry is talking about a medical facility.
