Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense: Large-scale airstrikes by Russia against several Ukrainian regions
On Monday morning, Russia launched a large-scale air strike against several Ukrainian regions.
The Ukrainian air defense reported that eight Russian Su-35 bombers were in the air. The Kinzjal ballistic missile is said to have also been used.
– Kyiv, seek refuge, writes the defense on Telegram. The Kinzal missiles, fired from the airspace over Crimea, are said to threaten the Ukrainian capital.
Ukraine’s defense has sent out warnings in large parts of the country, and warning services show that anti-aircraft sirens are going off all over the country.
Several sources report explosions in many places. Several cities in the regions of Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyj and Zaporizhzhya are said to be under attack.
Russia has recently carried out several violent airstrikes against Ukrainian cities. Just before the New Year, a total of 39 people were killed in one day. In addition, 25 people were killed in the Russian border town of Belgorod, according to Russian authorities.
