The Igora Drive Autodrome is located 54 kilometers from St. Petersburg and last year received a license from the International Automobile Federation to hold Formula 1 races. The circuit is 4086 meters long with an elevation gain of 17 meters and offers ten track layouts.

The Russian Grand Prix was included in the championship program in 2014 and took place on the city circuit in Sochi. All seven previous races there have been won by the Mercedes stable, four triumphs were taken care of by seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton. This year’s Grand Prix is ​​scheduled for September 26.
