– Moldova is the next victim of the West’s hybrid war against Russia, says Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, in a statement on Thursday.

A hybrid war is a mixture of conventional military operations and other means such as cyber attacks, terrorism and sabotage. It makes it possible for the attacking party to hide that they are behind it, according to The Norwegian Defense Research Institute.
Lavrov also accuses the EU of having become an “aggressive political project”.
In April, the EU decided to assist Moldova in building a defense against Russian influence, by providing them with strategic advice.
