“Russia’s Failed Attempts to Neutralize Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces”

For 20 nights in May, Russia carried out strikes against Ukraine with drones and cruise missiles, but failed to make much progress in achieving its goals of neutralizing Ukraine’s modernized air defense forces and overwhelming Ukrainian forces preparing for a counterattack, the report said.

The Russian command is trying to create reserve forces and deploy them where, according to their assessment, a counter-attack may occur.

However, some of these forces had to be redeployed to fill gaps in the front line in the Bakhmut district, according to British intelligence.
