Russia’s ‘Dangerous Area’ Decision in the Black Sea and Its Impact on UK Income: Analysis by Roman Svitan

Russia has “restored the regime of a dangerous area” in the Black Sea, which, in fact, will not change anything, except for an increase in UK income, Roman Svitan said.

After the explosions on the Crimean bridge, Russia announced that it had no plans to extend the “grain agreement” and announced the restoration of the regime of a temporary dangerous area in the northwestern waters of the Black Sea. But this, by and large, means only that Russia is not responsible for the safety of navigation. In addition, after this decision, issues related to ship insurance will arise.
