Russia’s Construction of 30-kilometer “Train” Structure as Defense Barrier in Ukraine

The continuous structure, according to DeepState, stretches 30 kilometers along the line from the railway station in Olenevka to Volnovakha and has about 2,100 cars of various types. The Russians began building this structure back in July 2023, using carriages stolen from the occupied territories.

“This is a very specific engineering structure, the effectiveness of which is difficult to assess. The idea is clear – an obstacle to the advancement of the Defense Forces. It can well be considered as a separate line of defense, because it is extremely difficult to damage, move or explode a 30-kilometer mass of metal, and the movement of equipment through such an obstacle without breaking through the corridor is impossible,” DeepState explained.

The construction of this “train” was verified visually by the DeepState team using satellite images over different periods of time.

Situation at the front

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours there have been 95 military clashes at the front. The Russian occupiers continue to attempt an offensive in the Kupyansky and Avdeevsky directions. At the same time, the Ukrainian military continues to hold positions on the left bank of the Kherson region.

In addition, over the past 24 hours, the infidels have lost more than 900 soldiers at the front. The total number of losses of enemy army personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine has already amounted to about 395,200 people.
