The popular series could look completely different.
The sitcom “My Fair Nanny” first appeared on Russian screens in the fall of 2014 and became a springboard for the career of Anastasia Zavorotnyuk. Even years later, fans continue to associate the artist with the image of Vika’s nanny. At the same time, the creators of the series initially assumed a completely different star for the main role.
The fact is that after the casting, the producers invited Nonna Grishaeva, who at that time was already known throughout the country. She starred in the comedy “Radio Day” and shone on the theater stage. But the actress could not because of her employment, so the creators drew attention to the charismatic Zavorotnyuk.
As a result, the choice turned out to be correct, and the artist attracted the attention of the public to the series with her talented performance. At the same time, Grishaeva still managed to star in “My Fair Nanny” – in several episodes she embodied the image of Vika Prutkovskaya’s sister Nina. And, as attentive fans note, she would have perfectly coped with the role of the main character, if she still had such an opportunity.
