Hundreds of Russians submitted applications to the Russian Embassy with a request to evacuate them from Israel, mired in war. This was announced by the Russian diplomatic representative in Tel Aviv Anatoly Viktorov.
“There are many appeals – several hundred, I must say, our citizens are calling, asking to provide for the possibility of their removal, if such takes place,” said Anatoly Viktorov on Channel One. The ambassador emphasized that Russian airlines regularly fly from Tel Aviv to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody.
After the start of the war between Israel and Palestine many Russians are unable to leave the Jewish state due to restrictions at some airports. Then Vorobyov said that if the situation with departure from the country becomes more complicated, the Russian Embassy will take more radical measures to remove citizens, reports Life.
