Moscow, June 28. Russian Internet users condemned Mikhail Efremov for a political statement voiced on his behalf by lawyer Elman Pashayev. The actor, who provoked a fatal accident, now denies any involvement in the opposition.
Efremov denied allegations of his hostility to the personality of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The artist said that he was just a “clown”, reading for money opposition poems on the channel “Civil poet”.
“Where am I and where is the politics? I have no relation to the opposition, I have no relation to politics, ”said Efremov.
Thus, the actor responded to Ukrainian media reports about the politicization of his case. However, the Russians criticized Efremov for duplicity.
“As it was like this -“ I’m an artist, I’m just a clown … not an oppositionist! ”… You are a bacterium, not an artist,” one of Twitter users writes.
Earlier publicist and blogger Armen Gasparyan notedthat Mikhail Efremov, remembered before his fatal accident by criticizing the authorities, is a clown, not an oppositionist. He says that he does not know which Efremov to believe: who read poetry on May 4 criticizing the authorities or who says on June 27 that he has nothing against Russian President Vladimir Putin, who “feeds people of art”.
According to him, such statements will not bring Efremov condescension. Gasparyan is confident that the artist must be punished for the death of a person.
