Five teams reached the first transition of the Raid Gallaecia-AR World Championship, located in the Manzaneda Mountain Station, and only two of them left within 24 hours of the starting honk: Blizzard, Russian team, and the Estonian ACE Adventure-La Sportiva, both set out in the lead to travel 80 kilometers on a mountain bike to the town of Quiroga followed by the Swedish team Safat throughout the Massif Central Ourense. This adventure test will end next Saturday in A Coruña and the trophy ceremony will be in the afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., on the O Parrote esplanade.
Yesterday all Manzaneda arrived after several changes in the head of the race when choosing different itineraries. The first Spanish teams to arrive were the Zona7.Cat and the Torpedo Vidaraid, more than an hour after the bike ride of the top finishers. The athletes carried out two special tests in pairs in the Manzaneda mountain station complex: a mountain bike descent through the Bikepark and a zip line, the only ropes test of the competition.
