– We will only give up when our men are safely home for good. We are not interested in rotation, says a letter posted on the Telegram account of the group, which calls itself “The Way Home”.

Several demonstrations the women have wanted to organize have not been approved by the Russian authorities, partly because of the corona situation in the country. It is not known how many women are in the group.
– We remember that the president promised that reservists would not be called in, and that the special military operation would only be carried out by professional volunteers, it continues.
Instead, the men have now been deployed in the war for 15 months, and many have lost their lives, it says.
– A terrible mistake
– The mobilization has turned out to be a terrible mistake, writes the group, which warns that no one is exempt if there is another partial mobilization in 2024.
Last fall, Putin declared a partial mobilization in the Ukraine war, contrary to his original promise that it would not happen. The turnaround occurred as a result of Russian setbacks on the battlefield.
