Russian Wagner Mercenary Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin Moves to Belarus, Ends Mutiny: Details and Updates

“Yes, indeed, he is already in Belarus,” declared the dictator.

As reported on Tuesday morning by Belarusian Hajun, a monitoring project of Belarusian military activity, Prigozhin’s private plane landed on the Machulischu military airfield near Minsk on Tuesday morning.

Prigozhin’s plane with registration number RA-02795 landed in Belarus at 7.40 am.

Shortly after, at 7:58 a.m., another private plane with registration number RA-02878 landed at Mačulišču airport. It took off from St. Petersburg.

Last weekend, a military mutiny led by Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin took place for about 36 hours, during which columns of Wagner fighters moved towards Moscow.

Several aircraft of the armed forces of the Russian army were shot down during the “Wagnerian” rebellion. The loss of life force of the Russian army from this mutiny, according to various estimates, is 4 to 20 people.

The Kremlin announced that Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko had helped settle the situation, and an agreement had been reached that Prigozhin would move to Belarus and the criminal case against him would be dropped.
