State television broadcast Russia suddenly interrupted when the President, Vladimir Putin, was talking that Russia would win over Ukraine.
In the broadcast, in front of tens of thousands of citizens, Putin promised that the goals of the Kremlin’s military operation would soon be achieved.
“We know what we need to do, how to do it and how much it will cost. And we will absolutely achieve all our plans,” Putin said at the rally, quoted by Reuters on Saturday (19/3).
However, the state TV suddenly cut off Putin’s speech and aired patriotic songs. However, soon the president’s face reappeared on the screen.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin’s speech was cut short due to a technical error on the server.
However it is unknown why the server problem caused the sudden and unusual interruption at the time.
It is known, Russia is still continuing to invade Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said an operation in Ukraine was necessary because the United States was using the country to threaten Russia.
In addition, according to him, Russia must defend against the ‘genocide’ that Ukraine perpetrated against the Russian-speaking people.
On the other hand, Ukraine says it is struggling to protect its existence. The country has also declared that Putin’s claims of genocide are nonsense.
So far, a number of cities, public facilities, the military, to Ukrainian citizens continue to be victims of Russian attacks in Ukraine.
